New Event Submission Thank you for your interest in submitting an event for posting on the WAMV website. There are two types of events: Coming Events and Ongoing Events. Coming Events are those that occur on a single day or a series of days. These events need to have an Event Start Date and an Event End Date entered for the event. For a single-day event, only the Event Start Date needs to be entered. In order to keep events from being displayed too far into the future before the Start Date and long after the event has passed, the View Start Date and View End Date values need to be entered. The View Start Date should be about 1 - 2 weeks before the event Event Start Date so people can plan their schedules accordingly for the event. The View End Date should be the last day of the event. Ongoing Events are those that occur periodically, such as weekly or monthly. The When option allows you to specify when the event will be occurring, such as, "Every Tuesday" or "The Last Friday of the Month". Also, enter the View Start Date and/or View End Date if the event will only be active for a period of time. The Time and Location are optional, but be sure to enter this information when needed. The Description is optional. It can be used for details about the event.
